Heading to the HQ: Kylian Mbappe visits the Hublot manufacture
Kylian Mbappé paid a visit to the Hublot HQ in Nyon to discover the techniques used to construct luxury watches. The PSG star was able to learn the secrets behind Hublot models straight from the master watchmakers themselves, from the manufacture, design to the assembly of timepieces.
Mbappé, a Hublot ambassador, met with the employees and witnessed the different specialisations required to manufacture the timepieces to the high standards expected of the brand.
“I have been passionate about watchmaking for many years,” the forward said. “As a Hublot ambassador, the opportunity to delve into the secrets of a watch manufacture was one I just couldn’t resist. I was amazed at the Hublot teams and their ability to propel traditional expertise into the future thanks to cutting edge techniques.”
“It is always a pleasure to share our enthusiasm for watchmaking as well as our research into new materials with our visitors,” said Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO Hublot. “It is even more of a pleasure when we welcome a visitor who is as endearing as Kylian.”
Founded in Switzerland in 1980, Hublot is defined by its innovative concept, which began with the highly original combination of gold and rubber. This “Art of Fusion” stems from the imagination of its visionary Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver, and has been driven forward by Guadalupe since 2012.

The release of the iconic, multi-award-winning Big Bang in 2005 paved the way for new flagship collections, Classic Fusion and Spirit of Big Bang, with complications ranging from the simple to the highly sophisticated, establishing the extraordinary DNA of the Swiss watchmaking house and ensuring its impressive growth.
Hublot has been the official timekeeper at major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Champions League. Other ambassadors include Usain Bolt and Pelé.
