Hugh Jackman is in great shape and it seems he is keen to keep his children active too.

The 45-year-old Wolverine star was on solo daddy duty as he picked up daughter Ava in New York on Tuesday, after ferrying a scooter to school for her to ride back on.

Hugh was dressed comfortably in a grey hoodie over a white T-shirt and light grey trousers.

The handsome Aussie actor also had on a pair of brown sunglasses and wore grey toe shoes.

Hugh is regularly seen collecting his young daughter, but this time he had some company while strolling through the West Village

The actor was spotted walking and talking with fellow New York resident and fashion photographer Nigel Barker.

The 41-year-old Nigel is best known for being a former judge and photographer on the reality show America’s Next Top Model.

Nigel wore blue jeans, a black T-shirt and black coat while catching up with Hugh.

Hugh attended the opening on Sunday of the jazz musical After Midnight that recreates the jazz era of Harlem in the Roaring Twenties.

The Hollywood star also was spotted last week picking up Ava from school on Halloween dressed as Steve from Minecraft.

The Les Miserables actor typically brings Ava’s scooter for her during his late afternoon school run, and is sometimes seen saving time on the way there by having a ride on it himself.

Hugh will reprise his Wolverine character in X-Men: Days Of Future Past due out next May.

 

A festive surprise: When Hugh collected Ava (L) on Halloween, he had a homemade Steve from Minecraft costume with him
