The video showcases the Eku Cruise, an AI-controlled flying hotel created by Hashem Al-Ghaili, with 20 spacious cabins capable of carrying 5,000 passengers. Upon landing, it has left many people amazed.
Al-Ghaili describes the Sky Cruise aircraft as the future of transportation, explaining that conventional airlines will ferry passengers to the Sky Cruise, which will never touch the ground and will even have onboard repairs carried out during flight.
When asked how many pilots it would take to fly the Sky Cruise, Al-Ghaili responded, “All this tech and you still want pilots? I believe it will be fully autonomous.” The concept of a flying hotel has puzzled viewers. While all that is good and well, the Sky Cruise would still require quite a few staff members. It would also have a huge shopping mall, as well as a swimming pool, gym, and cinema.
This video was uploaded by YouTube user Al-Ghaili and posted on the page “A Futuristic Hotel Above the Clouds.” The concept showcases mini-sized aircraft in the form of plane towers and seems to be the ideal venue for an event. While a launch date for the flying hotel is yet to be announced, not everyone is keen on Al-Ghaili’s idea. One person commented, “Great idea, putting a nuclear reactor in something that could malfunction and fail out of the sky.”
