The “Black Adam” star feels happy and proud of Halle Bailey’s performance in “The Little Mermaid”.
On the personal page, The Rock shared a short clip about watching the movie The Little Mermaid with 4 children. He revealed that he was invited by actress Halle Bailey and director Rob Marshall. The 51-year-old star gave many compliments to the film and the performance of the female lead.
“I was very impressed with Halle’s performance on the big screen, it was full of charm. But more importantly, I was also overwhelmed by her grace and energy when shining in front of the world with her maturity and soul,” wrote The Rock.
He added, “Halle, keep working hard and push the limits. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you in the future.” According to the actor, as a father, he feels happy to see his children not thinking about the mermaid’s skin color.
Not only The Rock, before that, many people shared on social networks the moment black children first saw the mermaid figure of Halle Bailey. They were all very happy and excited when they found out that Ariel has the same skin color as them.
