English pop star Dua Lipa and Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace straight up killed it with their joint collection “La Vacanza” for the high summer of 2023 at a fashion show held on May 23 in Cannes, down south in France.

As part of this collaboration, Dua Lipa got access to the Versace archives and together with Donatella, they reimagined the brand’s archival models by addin’ some modern elements. The collection is all about the spirit of vacation and offers modern elegance with a wide range of design solutions, from perfectly tailored clothes to evening dresses, bikinis and beachwear, in bright colors and black, with prints of butterflies and ladybirds.

Dua Lipa, a loyal friend of the Versace house and always rockin’ its products throughout her career, stepped into fashion design with the help of Donatella Versace. The idea of this collaboration came up during a night walk in New York, and as Dua noted, the chance to dive into the atelier and become part of the history of Versace was absolutely amazin’.

This new collection, called “La Vacanza,” embodies all the brilliance and luxury. It combines both Versace’s signature styles, such as the Medusa emblem, and recognizable motifs inherent in Dua Lipa’s own style. The main idea of the collection is to look chic at any time, which is emphasized by both the venue of the show and the name of the collection. These two ladies are straight up killin’ it together!
