Actor Hugh Jackman has once again proven his worth as a doting family man when he took his two children out for some fun and games in a park in New York.
The Wolverine actor was seen playing cricket with Oscar, 10, and five-year-old Ava as they enjoyed a day out with friends in the city’s Hudson River Park.
And the actor showed off his wicket keeping abilities while handing the batting over to Oscar – while giving Ava a piggyback at the same time.
Just to add to the fun, Jackman then showed off his footballing skills while joining in a game with friends.
But he didn’t leave his daughter out, as he continued to carry little Ava around on his back during the game.
The actor even found time for some hijinks – at one point posing with his arms crossed in a recreation of the logo from the X-Men films for which has has become famous.

Jackman has been seen out and about with his family in New York several times in recent weeks.
Last week he and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness were pictured with Ava and some of her friends, enjoying a day out in the city for his 42nd birthday.
The family walked through the West Village after picking Ava up from school, and Jackman held her hand as she zoomed along the pavement on her scooter.

Meanwhile, Jackman has been busy on the film front lately, with several big screen outings due for release in 2011.
He will be seen alongside Alicia Silverstone in the comedy Butter, as well as appearing in the futuristic drama Real Steel.
And a sequel to Wolverine – X-Men: Origins – Wolverine 2 is due to go into production, with Darren Aronofsky tipped to direct.
