Kylian Mbappe has sent a public message to his former Paris Saint-Germain team mate Lionel Messi ahead of his move to Inter Miami.
The Argentine sealed his exit from Ligue 1 as he was announced as a new signing for David Beckham’s MLS side Inter Miami.
Messi spent two seasons in Paris alongside Mbappe but the pair failed to lift the Champions League for the French giants.
Taking to Instagram on Messi’s birthday, Mbappe wished the World Cup winner the best of luck for the future.
He wrote: ‘Happy birthday legend. I wish you the best possible day with your family and friends.

Mbappe could follow Messi out of the door at PSG soon, with it reported that the France star will commit to his final year of his contract before moving on.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for the 24-year-old, while Chelsea emerged as shock contenders.
It remains to be seen as to whether Mbappe will opt to join the La Liga giants on a free transfer next summer, after Messi seemingly gave him permission to move to Madrid over Barcelona.
