This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad is a two-door station wagon that is finished in India Ivory and Cashmere Blue over beige and blue vinyl upholstery and powered by a replacement 327ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ Cragar wheels, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, front disc brakes, chrome bumpers and trim, air conditioning, and a custom audio system. The car was previously owned by actor Bruce Willis and was acquired by the current owner in early 2022. This Bel Air Nomad is now offered on behalf the owner with a clean California title.
The car is finished in India Ivory and Cashmere Blue and features a wrap-around windshield, side mirrors, sliding rear windows, a two-piece tailgate, “Bel Air” and “Nomad” badging, and twin tail fins with a concealed fuel filler under the left taillight assembly.
Aftermarket 15″ Cragar wheels are wrapped in a mix of Goodyear Eagle GT tires. The car is equipped with front disc brakes and a dual-circuit brake master cylinder.
The twin bench seats are upholstered in beige vinyl with blue waffle pattern vinyl inserts. Additional equipment includes blue carpeting, an aftermarket air conditioning system, modified door panels, and a custom stereo system.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a matching steel dashboard that houses a 110-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A trio of aftermarket Stewart-Warner gauges measuring oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer indicates 22k miles, and the true mileage is unknown.
The replacement 327ci V8 features a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, an MSD electronic ignition system, Corvette-branded valve covers, and an aluminum radiator.
