Global West Welded Frame Connectors, Mustang 2 Alloy Wheels, Modern Air Conditioning with Sanden Type Compressor.

We found this Californian built Custom Mustang being offered for sale by a Veterans Charity known as VIP in San Diego California where it had been gifted by its owner and builder to help US veterans in need.

Like many other Restomod builds we buy, this Mustang started life as a 6 cylinder car, the T code cars are the preferred choice of many car builders as they are usually little used, with low ownership and very solid body shells. Ideal for modification to any level your mood and pocket takes you!

So the front end has been reinforced to accept a later model Mustang 2 Front Suspension setup with Coil Over Shocks and Dual Wishbones giving much improved handling and braking from the Power Disc Front Brakes. With this setup the Shocktowers are removed and replaced with Chrome infil Plates, this gives much more room around the V8 302 ci Motor allowing easy installation of a set of Shorty JetCoated Headers with Dual Exhausts which give a very healthy V8 Burble, music to the ears of any Mustang fan!

The engine compartment has been painted in body colour and the Motor further enhanced with an Aluminium Intake Manifold & Four Barrel Carburettor, Electronic Ignition and Distributor give modern reliability and performance.

Cooling is taken care of by a Champion Multi Core Aluminium Radiator and the Alloy Valve Covers with Matching Air Intake all give a great appearance under the Hood. The occupants will enjoy the modern Air Conditioning system which provides ice cold air, and whilst the interior has been restored it retains much of the original Classic appeal of a “66” Mustang with the Five Gauge Dash sporting its Woodgrain Finish.

The steering column has been upgraded with an Ididit Tilt and Adjust Chrome Column set off with a beautiful Wood Rim Alloy Steering Wheel.

The Boot area has been fully carpeted which is a really nice touch and to allow the use of modern lower profile tyres, a set of Mustang 2 Torq Thrust Alloy Wheels really finish this build off perfectly.

At the wheel this Muscle Car is taught, tight and fast and gives the driver even greater sense enjoyment, thanks to its high level of upgrades and improvements.

The paint and body are gorgeous and the underside will stand any inspection with only solid steel panels properly protected with a modern anti corrosion system professionally applied.

Overall a great car waiting to be enjoyed by the next lucky owner, why not give our sales department a call and arrange a viewing now.
