This highly optioned Polara 500 convertible is a great example of mid-60s Mopar muscle. Features a new chocolate brown Mercedes cloth top that contrasts nicely with the Anniversary Gold paint. This ’64 is enhanced with a repaint, new interior and rebuilt running gear. Powered by a dressed-up 426ci Street Wedge V8 mated to an A833 4-speed manual transmission and a Dana Sure-Grip 8-3/4 rear-end. During the engine rebuild it was upgraded with a larger cam, electronic ignition, Holley carburetor, aluminum intake manifold and valve covers. Other features and upgrades include a high-performance exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, HD aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes and a new HD front sway bar. Additional features include an upgraded interior with bucket seats, a console with tachometer, remote mirror, power windows, power top, front retractable seat belts and an upgraded stereo. The Polara rides on new Foose polished aluminum wheels mounted on Michelin Sport Plus low-profile tires (235/45×17-inch front and 255/45×18-inch rear).
